What kind of buttercream do you prefer? Swiss meringue? American? Classic French?I find whenever I make a quality buttercream, people always make a funny face and say "Ah, this tastes like butter" ???!!!??Either way, these are cute and look delicious. The fondant work on the bugs is quality, I would've expected them to be made out of gum paste or the like.
Thanks, Nick. I prefer Italian meringue or Swiss meringue. However, if I'm in a hurry or I'm making a cake primarily for kids, I use the quick faux BC.
